Since 2014, Kinakål.no has been serving authentic Chinese food and promoting Chinese food culture. Here, they serve noodles that are handmade in the shop every single day. Håkon and his Chinese wife, Chen Qian, are proud to bring one of China’s most important and fundamental staples to Oslo.

Noodles are like potatoes—they can be prepared in endless ways. On the menu, you’ll find both classic Chinese noodle dishes and more experimental original creations, and it will also change with the seasons: Sichuan soy sauce noodles, cold sesame noodles, noodles stir-fried with salted duck eggs and vegetables, noodles made by Chen Qian’s grandmother, BiangBiang noodles, ZhaJiang noodles, noodles with fermented kohlrabi and poached eggs.
