Here we’ve put together some practical information to help you have the best possible experience during your stay with us at Vippa, as well as details on how to get here and back.
By public transit:The 60bus goes (almost) right to the door.
By car:You can drive almost all the way to the entrance. Paid parking is available.
On foot: A 15-minute walk from both Rådhusplassen and Oslo Central Station.
Vippa can seat up to 350 people, and it’s usually easy to find a seat for smaller groups. However, for groups of 20 or more, we recommend making a reservation. Outdoor seating is first-come, first-served.
We are universally unformed.
Our food ranges from comfort food to traditional dishes served in a casual setting. But we never compromise on quality. Simple food doesn’t mean a lack of quality. One of the most important aspects of Vippa is the people behind it and their stories.

Unfortunately, dogs are only allowed in the outdoor area due to food safety regulations.
We try to have a rotating selection of food stalls, and there are usually some changes every year. Send us an email at drift@vippa.no with your concept, and we'll let you know if we have any space available!
No, unfortunately not. The only exception is food for infants.
Nope, Vippa welcomes people of all ages!
We try to hold onto forgotten valuables, and we have a lost and found section at the bar. Come visit us during opening hours or send an email to booking@vippa.no, and we'll check if it's here!

Larger groups can pay by invoice, just make sure to let us know at least 48 hours in advance. Contact booking@vippa.no for more info.
Yep! We take most cards, including American Express.
Nope, we only take indoor reservations. There's plenty of space outside, so you'll most likely find a spot to enjoy the sea view :)
